Reggio-inspired, child-led
Every session starts from the child’s own curiosity, not a fixed lesson plan. Materials, pace and subject follow their lead — the adult’s role is to prepare the space and stay close, not to direct.

The studio sits right in front of Neih, our partner space in Hanoi — a calm, light-filled room set up for exploring paint, clay, collage and more, sized for small groups of up to ten.
Supporting Animals Asia
Sun Bear Studio takes its name — and its heart — from the sun bears cared for at the Tam Dao Bear Sanctuary. We work with Animals Asia to bring that story to the children who visit us.
Sidra Williamson
Sidra Williamson (Teacher Sid) is an international educator and artist with more than 11 years of experience teaching children from early childhood through elementary age, across schools in Vietnam and the United States. She holds a Master's in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor's in Fine Arts, and believes art is a powerful language for thinking, communicating, and understanding the world. At Sun Bear Studio, she creates a warm, child-led space where kids explore materials, take creative risks, and build confidence — valuing curiosity over perfection, and process over production.
